I don't have the right tools to replace a watch band so it took me a little while to figure out that the band is attached to the watch with spring loaded pins just like most any other watch. Piece of cake!

Brought my G Shock many years ago when kids were in Prep School & playing soccer. Have used it as a casual timepiece since then, while playing sports, on the beach, working in yard, etc. Fell in love with the watch and was (slightly) devastated when watchband broke. Amazon to the rescue. Cost...MORE THAN REASONABLE, turn around time...OUTSTANDING, wearing my comfortable watch again...PRICELESS...

I needed an exact replacement for my watchband. I found same on this site.
Most of the places that sell watchbands no longer have the correct replacements. They do not care. If something similar to this happens to you, go online. Look for original replacements.

It sure would be nice if the description told me that pins were not included with the band. I had bent the original pins and cannot reuse them, so I'm stuck with a little $16 POS (i.e., Piece of Strap).

There are bands that are similar in appearance but are made of a less durable material. This band is made of the same resin as the original band and should have as lengthy a life. There are less expensive bands available that I would assume would have a shorter life. I do not really recall seeing the difference pointed out in the online catalog.
Replacing this band is not a simple as most watches because of the extra shock cover. Once you peel off the outer cover it is pretty much like any other watch. Note that this band does not include the spring pins that hold the band to the watch. All in all it was what I expected when I ordered it and I am very happy with transaction.
