A very nice watchDec 09, 2009
By Christian Islas
"Thokk"
I've just got it as a b-day present and it totally rocks, it looks amazing even tho is not a really expensive watch. I have mid-sized wrists and what I like the most is that the watch doesn't look oversized on me, also my shirts wrists just slip over the watch, so I don't have to adjust it, and living in a city as dangerous as Mexico I better be quick at hiding this kind of goodies.
Also the weight is perfect, it's not heavy and it feels solid, I'll give it 5 stars since it's the best watch I've had so far...I might change my mind when I finally get my TAG :)

Watch ok Bulova service not so hotAug 21, 2010
By captbill Sharp looking watch. Solid feel. Like it a lot until it broke. Sweep second hand for chrono would not reset to zero. Sent it to address in owners manual for service. It came back in a couple of weeks, seemingly fixed......but with a ten dollar service fee and no watch box. Ticked me off. Looked on their web site and THERE (not in literature that comes with watch)they said they charge ten dollars to service a watch under their guarantee and they said don't send it in for service in the presentation box because they will throw it out! Now, about two months after I got it back....the second hand will not zero out, again! So, I guess to get it fixed I'll have to pay them. Should have spent another hundred bucks and bought a Citizen. Really aggravated by service issue.

High Quality But Needs A Few ImprovementsNov 16, 2009
By Z. Skropanic This is a high quality timepiece/chrono, something we came to expect from Bulova. It has a hefty, solid feel to it and it looks extremely well on medium and large wrists. The metal (case, dial, and band) are nice and rich-shiny so it could pass as a nice dress watch -- pretty much this piece is wearable in almost any situation or with any clothes. A few pragmatic improvements in the dial design area I'd suggest: 1. increase the contrast between the skeleton hands and the dial background (the contrast is somewhat weak). 2. increase the horizontal size of the date window just a touch (in dates that contain two digits, like 12, 13, etc., the flat line 1s are too close to edge and hard to see them under certain angles). 3. apply some type of illumination for night/darkness viewing (no illumination on this type of watch is somewhat puzzling).
NOTE: It doesn't say in the watch description on this site, but the long hand that is usually associated with the second hand on non-chrono watches is actually the chrono hand while the second hand is in the small sub-dial at 6 o'clock.
Overall, a very nice Japanese quartz quality watch with a touch of class that fits any active lifestyle.

Justamente o que eu esperava!Nov 29, 2010
By Leandro E. P. Espino Justamente o que eu esperava. Já tinha provado o relógio em uma loja física e o comprei pela Amazon para entregarem no meu hotel durante minhas férias. Como sempre a Amazon entregou no prazo e correu tudo como eu imaginava. Recomendo! O relógio é muito bonito.
Great and Beautiful watchMar 07, 2012
By Armando Angel Jr. I received this watch as a gift from my best friend (who ordered it through Amazon). I previously purchased another Marine Star watch here on Amazon, so I gave my friend the green light and he bought it for me on Amazon. I had previously seen the watch at a local jewelry store and I fell live in love with it. But, once I actually got the watch, I fell even more in love with it. It has a really shiny metallic finish and just looks stunning. It looks more expensive than what it actually costs. You have to see the watch in person to appreciate it. The pictures do not do it justice. The red on it is a nice sporty, yet elegant touch that I just loved. I've gotten a few compliments already and people have asked me where they can buy it. I told them I got it for $400 to show off ;-). Anyway, it is a sturdy, but not-too-heavy watch. It has only lost a few seconds since I got it last week, but that is expected. I'm very certain it was an official Bulova watch since it came with the price tag and the instruction booklets. So far no problems in regard to the movement and the chronographs. So, the bottom line is that if you want a nice, expensive looking watch at a reasonable price, get this one. I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful white-faced stainless steel watches I have ever seen. If you can, look for it at a jewelry store and see one for yourself. Hopefully, you'll be ensnared by the watch's handsome looks and you'll jump the gun on it. I think it's worth the $400 MSRP, but get it here on Amazon if you want to save money. You just won't get the manufacturer's warranty, but we all knew that from the beginning, didn't we? :)
