AK 201 Oversized Chronograph WatchDec 31, 2008

As someone who REALLY appreciates large chronograph watches, I had to share my opinion about the Adee Kaye AK201 timepiece. I purchased 2 examples of the AK201, one with a black face and one with an ivory face. My favorite is the AK 201 black face with brown leather band. I have had both for over a year, and can highly recommend them to anyone that wants a really impressive, affordable, nicely designed large chronograph watch. At 48 mm, the bezel is large, but is very tasteful. A lot of oversized watches may be large, but are either not proportioned well, or feature detail that is just a lot of cheesy visual noise. The AK201 is classic just like an A2 Leather jacket, and makes a statement without looking totally overbearing. It has a nice hefty weight commensurate with a large chronograph, and adjusts with a precision feel. The price is also way affordable for those of us that either can't afford, or justify a high-end large chronograph that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars. It's also a great oversized watch that you won't be affraid to wear and get the crystal dinged in the real world. Yes.. I would love to have an IWC Aviator, or even a Zeno Pilot Oversized large Chrono, but this watch is such a well-designed great buy that I had to mention it for those on a budget, but that need and appreciate a great everyday large chronograph.
